T&Cs

It is your/the client’s responsibility to ensure the details to be quoted are accurate. You agree, upon acceptance of the quote via payment of a 50% deposit, to the following terms and conditions:

Payment

A 50% deposit is required (by all parties IF multiple clients involved) for Reynolds Rural Contracting to commence works, with the balance due within 7 days of completion.

Quotes

All quotes are an estimate and may be subject to change under certain circumstances.

Extra costs may be incurred by you, the client, should any hidden obstacles be struck when digging holes (such as but not limited to large rocks, tree roots, broken posts, old concrete) or if unexpected adverse site conditions are encountered. These costs may include hiring extra equipment or additional labour. Reynolds Rural Contracting will endeavour to discuss any such issues at the first opportunity during the works.

Quotes are valid for 30 days from date of issue. All prices quoted include GST.

Materials

All materials used in the works remain the property of Reynolds Rural Contracting until full and final payment is received. Any debt collector fees incurred will be the sole responsibility of you, the client/debtor.

Site conditions

It is the client’s responsibility to make all necessary inquiries to the relevant authorities and service providers to locate the exact position of all underground services including, but not limited to, gas, electricity, water, phone, drainage and sewerage.

All underground services must be accurately located and marked prior to commencement of works.

All care, but no responsibility, is accepted by Reynolds Rural Contracting for any damage to underground services that might occur during works.

Upon payment of the 50% deposit, you, the client, agree to indemnify Reynolds Rural Contracting of all third-party liabilities, including but not limited to, any resulting from damage to underground services or existing structures on site.

The client is responsible, if/when necessary, for fees associated with and organising for the boundary to be surveyed and ensuring the surveyor’s pegs are accurately placed prior to works commencing.

You agree to indemnify Reynolds Rural Contracting of all public liability in regards to any accident and/or injuries that may occur on the work site. You are responsible for the safety and restraint of any adults, children and pets for the duration of the works. The work site requires strict adherence to workplace health and safety policies at all times.
